Roscrea Through the Ages
As many members will already know the credit union was very much involved in the launch of the fantastic website Roscrea Through the Ages. The website continues to grow and we would encourage everyone to check it out for themselves at www.roscreathroughtheages.org
Lending At Roscrea Credit Union
The Credit Union was delighted to announce to it’s members recently that lending restrictions were eased considerably in recent weeks. We are therefore in a position to try and satisfy more demand provided members meet the loan application eligibility requirements.
Loans are available for car purchase (new or used cars), education, home improvements, family events and much more. In addition to our very competitive standard loan rate of 11.5% the credit union also has a very competitive secured loan rate of 7.5%. If your loan is equal to or less than the amount of your shares you can avail of a great borrowing rate of 7.5% (7.8%APR).
Roscrea Credit Union would remind members that compared to banks there are many advantages to a credit union loan subject to terms and conditions. One of the most important features of a credit union loan is that the loan interest repayments are calculated on the reducing balance of the loan. This means smaller interest payments on the loan when compared with a loan with a similar rate in other financial institutions. In addition the credit union personal loan rates are very competitive with what is available in the current lending market and repayment terms can be organised to suit your circumstances. With a credit union loan you can repay the loan early with no penalty and there is also the flexibility to make larger payments with no penalty should you so wish. Another massive advantage a credit union loan has over it’s competitors is the fact that loans are insured at no direct cost to the eligible member.
For a hassle free, no obligation quote please contact the credit union on 0505 23601 or see our website www.roscreacu.ie.
The Credit Union is also actively looking for new members and would remind potential borrowers that the most important factor that the credit union will consider when deciding on loan approval is the member’s capacity to repay.
All Ireland 2104
Roscrea Credit Union congratulates all organisations, businesses, local estates and members that made the effort to decorate the town so well for this year’s All-Ireland Final. In particular the Credit Union would like to congratulate all it’s members in Kennedy Park for leading the way, not just in Roscrea but in the county. Their efforts are a wonderful example of a community coming together and doing something really positive which will live long in the memories of our younger generations in particular who will never forget the efforts made by themselves, their families and their neighbours. Let’s hope now that the Tipp team reward those efforts on Saturday week.
