To celebrate our first anniversary the group has done free CPR/AED awareness in the local pharmacys in Roscrea.
Roscrea Cardiac Responders Group is a voluntary organization,who work in conjunction with the NAS (national ambulance service ) to provide care for patients who suffer from chest pain,heart attack,cardiac arrests, breathing difficulties and stroke within a 5km radas of Roscrea. We are activated via text message from the control centre.We then reponds to the message and attend the scene.There is always 2 responders on call 24/7 in the Roscrea area.
To celebrate our first anniversary we have done free CPR/AED awareness in the local pharmacys in Roscrea. We would like to thank ,Frawleys ,Hennessey Totalcare and Maddens pharmacys for helping us do this and for been so helpful on the day.We will be in the remaining chemists in the coming weeks.
The group would like to say ,well done to the pupils and staff of Corville NS Roscrea, who sold tickets to raise money to buy an AED for their school and also to Scoil Eoin Naofa who have also purchase an AED for their school.
